The most powerful case against the American central bank ever written. This work begins with a mini-treatment of money and banking theory, and then plunges right in with the real history of the Federal Reserve System. Rothbard covers the struggle between competing elites and how they converged with the Fed. Rothbard calls for the abolition of the central bank and a restoration of the gold standard. His popular treatment incorporates the best and most up-to-date scholarship on the Fed's origins and effects.

Murray Rothbard is highly respected among the proponents of hard money, whom I follow. His commentaries are often presented in the gold newsletter to which I subscribe, Le Metropole Cafe. LMC is the subscription website of GATA (Gold Anti-Trust Action Committee) co-founder and chairman, Bill Murphy. Although focused on the more material aspects of our objective reality, this group of professionals have given me a far better education in economics than a university might have.

I have been putting off reading the highly recommended, The Case Against the Fed, since I have already delved into G. Edward Griffin's well researched work on the same, The Creature From Jekyll Island. Thanks for reviving my interest in Rothbard's take on this. I will acquire and read it.

The 1913 creation of the Fed, under very questionable circumstances, was the defining moment in the Zionist plans for the take down and looting of America. Until now it has all gone swimmingly for them. Thanks to the ceaseless work of people like Rothbard and GATA, the light of day is finally being shone on this dark, multi-generational cabal who have been responsible for so much pain and suffering in the world.
