The Center of Nowhere

The Force is Strong With This One
The Center of Now-Here

We are a Traveler, a Tribe
Our Home is where we say

It Will Be.

Everywhere, and Now Here.

Birds have the trees,
And foxes have holes to live in –
We are happy to be
Anywhere we can –

Not to preach, but teach
The truth in speech,
We are glad to sing in political silence,
Not telling you what should and should not be.

I love you so much,
I would never ask you to detach any part of your life
Or take on what you did not ask for or desire…

The Buddha smiles, for ill or good,
You are acting the part,
I only did what I could.

And where do we creep,
In caves where we sleep,
Could there be a place
In a world so deep?

We are at home while we roam,
Leaving gardens to bloom behind us,

The center is growing
Every time someone plants a seed there, knowing

A home provides at any time, outside,
In Outer Space,
We’ve stepped to the other side of the window-pane
And no children are standing there tapping,
They are out in the fields, dancing and laughing

Under the Moon
And inside the Trees
We are the Stars
And the Sun
And the Mother holds Us
As we travel, wander off
Find each other again, and again –

When, where will this end?

We can leave things growing and
We’ll return when they blossom, when they bloom
We’ll come back and get them – Oh yes –

There’s the scent in the wind
I pick it up good, and gently inhale…

When you’re at the Center,
Nothing affects you.
You’re always at home.
