Hi, I'm new to this site so please go easy on me(!)
Here's a poem I wrote recently describing the 'lost soul' - of course the knowledge of the trap is the first step to freedom.

THE CHAINED BOOK
I have lived all my life with a sealed book inside of me.
I have trapped myself within a walled garden,
And in my ignorance, have named that garden, the world.
I have practiced humility,
But have never come to master it.
And the knowledge I have gained has never been hard won.
So, I continue lost within my life, searching for a key,
To unlock a book of secrets, buried way beyond the walls.
