Thank you Laura for giving the following reference, which led me to reading the book.
And, before commenting further, having just finished reading this book,
An interesting book, a mix of ‘research’ and interlaced with narrative chapters. The research pales in comparison to that of Cube and Napier in The Cosmic Winter, or The Cycle of Cosmic Catastrophes by Firestone, West and Warrick-Smith, and similar works by Baillie.
Like Heindallr, I’m glad of the C’s comments! Well worth the read alongside of the above Research books, and Mother of Storms. It puts it all in perspective. The next book for me to read in this ‘series’ is So Foul and Fair a Day by Alistair Dawson.

Laura in Mother of Storms said:… As you can see, this book was probably the inspiration for Whitley Streiber's "The Coming Global Superstorm".

Heimdallr in the thread - James Lovelock said:Also the idea that global warming is a precursor to ice ages is something not only spoken of by the C's, but also by Whitley Strieber who wrote The Day After Tomorrow. He certainly isn't lacking in controversy! I remember reading the C's comments of about Whitely and his proposed ideas...Laura said:The movie, The Day After Tomorrow depicts the heat exchange that can occur with powerful storms and that may be the key. Yes, there is global warming, but that, apparently, can flip in almost an instant.

Q: Whitley Strieber and Art Bell have published a book about a "global superstorm." Is any of the information they have given in this book fairly accurate?
A: Derived from non-human sources known for stark accuracy, when convenient.
Q: What makes it convenient at the present time for them to be "starkly accurate?"
A: Fits into plans.
And me being the naive one actually thought after reading The Coming Global Superstorm that Bell and Strieber were one of the good guys! But this stark accuracy statement has always humbled me, realizing that it's not a question of if, but when the earth changes are going to happen.
