This is a reminder that the Earth is round.
And spins like a top.
And moves in the waters of the Universe.
The pilot of a plane that circumnavigates the globe only perceives himself to be moving in a straight line over a flat expanse of the land (or sea) below. Yet he has gone round a spherical planet!
How amazing is gravity that we do not perceive this?
How amazing is this thing that our Science calls "gravity", that we do not even feel the massive Earth spinning to give us day and night in a span of 24 hours?
Our Science that still imagines the Universe to operate on mechanical principles, even after Tesla brought electricity into the world!
