The Living Force
India's densely populated, including a large number of the poor, and its amazing diversity, from the total poverty and living of scratching. a living from 33 pence, the enormous edifice of indescribable beauty, leading to the question of how a country has much of a change in the social status of individuals.
Their faces, their facial wrinkles, their eyes and a few offered hand saying very much.

Thanks casper for posting this link. Indeed the plight of India's poor is a difficult one. Having travelled to India a few times, it has always been a difficult/painful experience for me when i notice the poor on the streets, and then observe some fancy 5 star hotels nearby with middle class or rich people completely oblivious to their plight...i mean it seems the way most people in India handle this issue is to "ignore it" - my observation anyway. Due to the largely Hindu beliefs of the country, the poor themselves accept these conditions and consider it as a part of Karma or fate. The poverty in India can be overwhelming at times when you are visiting the country, however i have great hope, as PM Modi seems to understand the situation, and is paying more attention to alleviate the issues of the poor, and decrease poverty. I hope he succeeds and makes a difference.

Very poignant casper. These portraits literally put a face to what it means to live in abject poverty.
