Hello friends ... I tried to find in the forum's "search" if there was this documentary, but I did not find (unless this under another name), well, in that case I allow myself to recommend this, and it is called "The Forbidden Education", and It's very interesting because it shows in detail how children are" educated " or makes stupids by this society rather than promoting them to the pleasure of knowledge. I hope anyone who sees it can give some opinion about it, greetings!

Only had a brief look as it is a few hours long and made a note to watch it more thoroughly; looks pretty good - thanks.

Schooling built its foundation on a fundamental idea that transcends all its frameworks:

The notion that children are empty, and consequently, their individuality can be broken down and rebuilt,

intervened according to external needs.

The child has been regarded as a research object, a rat, inside the biggest socialization laboratory in history,

whose main goal was to shape the human being.

You're welcome voyageur... here I found a trailer (3 minutes long) with subtitles and yes, the documentary is long and I recommend to watch it for rounds of half an hour, but the truth is that I tends to see it more :P

Hi IronFloyd,

There are more references to education on this forum and the ins and outs and whys of its aims.
Just search for John Taylor Gatto and Charlotte Iserbyt and you will find more.
And then there is the documentary 'The War on Kids', which I also thought was very interesting, although I think there has always been a war against kids.
