The girl who silenced the world for 5 minutes

A friend sent this out to me and I thought I would share with those interested.

Her name is Severn Suzuki, a girl from Vancouver Canada speaking at the United Nations Conference on Environment and Development in Brazil.
She is awesome. For the most part I think her words were falling on deaf ears.

I saw this about a year ago with my partner and we were both quite taken by the girl's powerful presence!
Apparently she is now a famous environmentalist

wow that was amazing, I think that very speech right through reflects the overall goals of this network. To do the work on ourselves and soon stand up and say publicly the same things this young lady is saying and address the issue of psychopathy on our planet.

I have been 'inspired' by her (Rachel Corrie) also.

Yes, I remember Rachel Corrie and her fight for the Palestinians. Also remembering that the story was put up on the US media for only a short while. She and others like her are my true hero's of this world. People like Nkosi Johnson, silenced hero's.
