Yep....is the same in all the world, and the same with the people :/

Thanks for sharing. When I drive into bigger cities, one word always comes to mind: Mordor. And these places represent the highest achievements of humankind to many people... Truly a sad state of the world.

A friend of mine who works in urbanization in developing countries, showed me pictures of uplifting African city like Lagos, Kinshasa and Brazzaville where the population explodes. Cities are no longer built on land but on unsafe water. The foundations of the buildings are on the solidification of waste that is in the water. The water no longer feeds the vegetation and men properly, worse it makes sick.

The Borg planet from Star Trek popped into my brain. An entire world of concrete and steel.
Absolutely NO room for nature...
Way things are, methinks that a very possible future..

Word! Just look at Fortaleza, Skyscrapers as far one can see. And that happened in just 35 Years? A whole lot of ruins in the not so distant future?

Reminds me somehow of the movie "Inception" when the guys falling into limbo and end up on a beach where old and rotten skyscrapers falling into the ocean.

Thank you for sharing, I am reminded of the Planet Trantor from the Foundation series by Isaac Asimov. The planet is basically one big metropolis, completely covered by concrete and dedicated only to administration (bureaucracy in pure form). Is this where we're heading? :(
