Today on the Health and Wellness Show we're looking into the topic of body work. Massage, rolfing, yoga, pilates, lomi lomi, fascia release, chiropractic - there are many different methods and modalities for physically working on our bodies and we'll be discussing many of these. We'll explore the concepts behind the work of Peter Levine, Alexander Lowen and others who look into the connection between emotions and trauma being "stored" in the tissues, how one's posture reflects one's internal state and how working on the body can benefit us physically, psychologically and emotionally.
Join us Fridays at 10am EST for SOTT Talk Radio's Health and Wellness Show. We'll also be featuring Zoya's Pet Health Segment.

it was interesting to hear that: They still aren't entirely sure how the knots come about and they don't - at least according to msm science - totally know how to treat it. For some conditions they eventualy recommend surgery which to me is just insane - like with chronic Trigeminal Neuralgia and the like.
except they think it's due to chemicals that cause the muscle to contract (and freeze); massage helps some but "some studies say it doesn't do anything" (msm science..) also recommended is anaesthetics.. That studies aren't consistent because what one calls a knot the other doesn't. This may have implications in Fibromyalgia treatments. MRI's show V-shaped patterns - the knots - which prevents blood flow etc... << this, from experience, is true.
