I dont know anything about American politics and politics is not the reason I am posting this, so please dont get involved in debating the political rights or wrongs of the issues , as I say this isnt posted for political reasons. This is being posted to Illustrate the effects of media information dissemination to a suggestible audience.

There are a number of people in this video , whom, when asked for reasons behind their views, cannot reply to the question without resorting to soundbites . IE They haven't thought the issues through. They have 'bought the slogan' and not thought through the issue.
Look at the eyes of some as they glaze searching for an answere - then quickly access a familiarity in feeling and come back with a 'slogan' from memory rather than a genuine intellectual answer based on logical confrontation.
It is a fascinating and at the same time frightening to see everyday mechanicanisation in action.

I wasn't sure where to put this, it doesnt fit with Family life - I didnt know if its important enough to go in the Work thread, so put it here. If a mod can find a better place for then please do.

fwiw, I think that's an excellent way to describe the observation. :)
