Hi everyone, hear this,
I was on the phone with my sister having a regular conversation on everything that comes to mind, out of the blue she mentioned about a letter that she had gotten in the mail at the age of 24. It was stating that she was selected as a candidate to be part of a secret society that many presidents and high society people were a part of, and if she joined she would have access to wealth and power, but she had to join within a time frame. Being the careful person that she is, she threw the letter away, said her gut feeling was it was something Evil. Now here's the funny part, I also got the same type of letter at the age of 24, saying the same thing, didn't know anyone else got it, they made it sound so exclusive. I also threw it away(first going through, Mr. P. Shredder). Apparently after no response we both had gotten a backup letter a week or so later stating something like
Unfortunately we can't recall the name of the society nor where the letter came from, but I was wondering if anyone else has seen such a letter.
I must admit, not being on the higher side of the society the offer was tempting and I didn't sense any good intentions behind it but I say "let your conscience be your guide" and mine told me "don't trust it" sooo I didn't.
Mind you, she is 4yrs older than I am and definitely took different paths in life.
Real exclusive secret society? or a simple A mail scam?
What are your thoughts on this one?
