The new Russian meteor is out of the lake

It cost $100,000 to lift 500KG of space rock out of water in 2013, and we're supposed to believe that Egyptians lifted stones in excess of 1 ton all the way to the top of a huge pyramid 5000 years ago with nothing but their hands and a little bit of spit shine.

In any case, with the way things have been going, it's probably a matter of months before one of these hits a populated area and causes casualties. And when it does everybody will be in a big panic, but the governments will put everyone back to sleep and it will seem like it's just a one in a lifetime event, until the downpour probably a few months after that.

I wonder what the next one(s) will bring as far as off-planet microbes go? And these things could be cumulative/interacting, making for the mother of all plagues, so to speak.
