Hi everyone.

Just wanted to share a beautiful video a colleague sent me the other day.

Don’t know if it has been posted here before but maybe other members haven’t seen it either. It’s from last year but I think its appropriate for any year. It's acts such as these in the video that give us hope for the future.

Happy holidays everyone!

This is such a heartwarming video! Gosh, it literally made me tear up.

Thank you for posting this Nima, I haven't seen it before :flowers:

Thank you so much for sharing this. I'm tearing up right now.

As someone who works with children in urban district schools, many from low-income families, this really hit me close to home. And also growing up in a low-income family myself.

Thank you so much for sharing this, Nima. It made me cry too, yet it's a beautiful message of hope. :flowers:

Indeed, that was very touching (was crying as well in the end) and heartening. These children have shown very responsible attitudes. it does give some hope for the future, even if it looks bleak mostly. Thank you very much for sharing, Nima! :flowers:

My eyes teared up as well watching this video. I've spent the past 23 years of my life teaching children in an elementary school serving mostly project housing kids with extreme needs. My joy each day was trying to make as many kids smile and laugh as I possibly could because I knew when they went home their life was hard. When I was a kid, the last day of school before summer vacation was always a cause for celebration. But for the kids I taught, that last day brought many of the kids tears and anxiety of the unknown couple of months ahead for them at home with no consistency of meals or nurturing. But the interesting thing I learned after all those years is that these kids, no matter what, (stories of mommy in jail or daddy in jail) have fierce loyalty to their families....and I believe they would have chose gifts for their parents rather than themselves, hard as that would have been for them...

Thank you Nima for sharing this...

Thank you for sharing this video, Nima. I had tears in my eyes, too. It is so beautiful to see these children's choice of giving. It gives hope for the future.
