A Disturbance in the Force
I thought I'd share a couple of recent dreams that have been powerful motivators for me.
11 March 2016
A green field expands in all directions in front of me. In the far distance are mountains. Much closer is a woman/girl with black hair. She is wearing a long white dress or gown and is sitting in a chair behind a flip-top school desk facing to my right. My attention is pulled to an object straight above the woman/girl. Is is on a rapidly declining trajectory from left to right. I sense the danger and 'feel' an invisible arm up into the sky to try and stop the object from falling to the earth. As soon as I 'touch' it it spits into two pieces. One piece continues its trajectory while the other piece begins traveling to the left. 'That's not what I meant to happen,' I thought as the first piece hits the ground outside of my field of view. 'What have I done?'
There's an intense flash of light. A nuclear explosion? As the light starts to subside I can see the front of the woman/girl glowing as her body starts to disintegrate. Oddly, I notice the desk is not being affected. Then the second piece impacts/explodes off to the left—it is out of my field of view, as well. As soon as the flash dies down from that, there is another flash from much further to the left. The woman/girl is still slowly disintegrating and all I can think is, 'That's the end of Russia; and the world. I didn't act soon enough.' (At this point there was a realization of the duality of the expolsions—they were both nuclear weapons and comet fragments.)
Fine and good... I've had those disaster dreams before. It was probably from all the reading I've been doing lately. Except for the strong urge to join the forums that would not go away after waking. I have had a few dreams with similar urges to act upon something, but usually upon reflection, they would seem to not be good courses to follow, so I did nothing. This time was different, so I joined.
A couple days ago I had another dream that, after waking I had just as strong a motivation to post the first one.

I seem to be reading an unpublished session transcript. One response stood out: "The three Russian bears you have met. When it is time you will go to them."
When reading it I felt/knew the time was now.
It was a very short dream and, just like the first one the message to hurry was obvious. Upon reflection, there are a lot of parallels in both. There's three of something in each. Both mention Russia, a country I've always been interested in. Possibly most importantly, since I've always been a procrastinator, they both have the message of, "I need to stop dragging my feet and act."
Deeper down, I've begun to realize that my procrastination has just been self-importance. Even though I read Castaneda's books years ago, it took a couple dreams to finally motivate me to realize the fact and act on it. :)
I just hope they don't mean that the end of the world is soon... I still have a lot of work to do...
