Last week I felt on a dvd in a bazaar :

The Wiz, a musical comedy with Michael Jackson.

As is was 2 € I have bought it, I didn't watch it yet, I don't think it could be better than the original.

Funny story regarding the Wiz: we watched the beginning of "The Wiz" streaming from our Roku, it was crazy GREEN with weird distortions. I thought it was homage to the B&W version in the original, and would switch to "Technicolor" when Dorothy made it to OZ.

It became quite annoying, and I was cursing the director for punishing his audience for so long with the shtick -- I mean it was funny for the first 2 minutes! Let's move on and get to color!

It never did change! Then we figured out our connection to the TV from the Roku was poor, we plugged it back in tightly and the movie became normal!! Of course, it didn't seem to get any better content-wise! I was so soured on the experience I've never finished watching it!

There's a lesson here somewhere.
