I was wondering if anyone on the forum has seen this series?

Earlier this year, in March, my husband and I started watching this limited series.
It’s staged in a fictional “Eastern European” country, with a despotic, unhinged leader, and peopled by a hard working yet simple and naive population.
It’s very dark humour, psychological issues abound, and it’s creepily prophetic.
Straight up in your face unfolding of the global manipulations going on, behind all these grinding gears of war, with the US behind the curtain.
The first 2 episodes we kinda enjoyed, and looked forward to, they were released on Friday nights.
The 3rd episode we both found disturbing, on several levels.
We haven’t had the nerve, nor inclination to watch the remaining 3 episodes that we have recorded.

Well, that’s an interesting point, about the trailer.
Both my husband and I weren’t interested either, we had seen trailers on advertisements, until we had nothing to watch one night, and picked it, on it’s starting night.
I don’t know what access you have, but we are in Canada, and it was broadcast weekly on cable network HBO1.
