May this imply that an existential cycle is indeed present and that the Mammoth may have been gone extinct much earlier than 4000 to 5000 year ago and then cloned by a very advanced civilization and then went extinct again?
This would be interesting in the sense that in such a way modern man follows up as well as precedes the Mammoth in evolution (depending on the time reference point you take).
I would be interested in seeing other people's views on this.
