*Very* heavily influenced by the C's and the Electric Universe. The first novel borders on fantasy, but the sequels are much more in the sci-fi realm, dealing with aliens, invasions, etc.

Very brief description:

The Key of Power has been lost, a small crystal with the power to reach between the worlds, between dimensions.

Across the centuries others have searched for it, longing to take advantage of it's powers and rule the world. From the time of it's creation for Atlantis, the Key has required a bearer to guide mankind, and protect the planet.

A few folks here have read them, and thank you for the kind words...truthfully, they're not very well written, and they're quite short, but oh well :(

Hiya Lost Spirt,

I was trying to follow the links but they aren't taking me anywhere.

I'd be interested taking a look at your novels, can you post another link? Thank you.

You might have to copy & paste (and remove the _ from the beginning...we don't like linking directly from the forum :) but here's some different links to try:

The Syker Key (book 1):

Hope that helps!

I just reread my post and I hope I didn't offend anyone:

That was aimed at me, not the folks sending me the kind words!

Dear Lost Spirit, thank you for the offer. I've downloaded all of them to my Kindle and I hope to read them when I have some leisure reading time. I thought the book covers were very tastefully done.

Same here. Thank you very much.

The covers were done by my good friend, director Chris Friesen of Shotlist Films (search YouTube for Chris Friesen to see some of his work). He is quite visually brilliant.

I keep joking that when I win the lottery I'll pay him to turn Syker into a movie!

Wow! What a interesting story!
Thank you, Lost Spirit,
I just finish reading first book, and I like it, now I must have to read second book.
It is entertaining book

Thank you :)

It took me about five years to write the original script the novel was based on, and the seed for it was a dream I had one night about a "local apocalypse in the mountains", where I grew up.

I consider the novel to be "competent" first effort, if not terribly long or well written!

Lost Spirit:

I'm going to down load one of them and give it a read. I've been writing short stories, and contemplating a novel, and your humble attitude has some how inspired me. Thanks

ps: Do you think that writeitnow 5 is a good software to use? What did you use ?
