A Stylized version for ballet: Night spell. There are many coincidences with celtic and music of certains parts of mexico. movements in warrior dances and ceremonies, specially in dances of jarocho region (Veracruz). In this ballet the woman(the witch) dance and levitates.

caballero reyes, I moved your topic under Music, as the context had nothing to do with cass transcripts ;)

La Bruja was popularized in the west by Salma Hayek, who performed it in the movie Frida. A well done movie imo, and I really liked the song too. I just read the translation of the lyrics though,

http://lyrics.wikia.com/Salma_Hayek_And_Los_Vega:La_Bruja

and I am not sure what the song is about. How do you see it being related to "erotics and esoterics in mexican music"?

Lo siento Alana, me eqivoque, pense ponerlo en "What is in your mind".

I am sorry Alana, I thought to put in "What is in your mind".By the way, you wrote something depressing:"La bruja was popularized in the west by salma". salma was very criticized for it.The most of hollywood films is only desinformation or in others words, "half true is the same that half lier" and in many cases the History accord hollywood is a complete lier, a bad recipe to season.

And respect to the relation of this song to esoterism is more than you think, maybe you don´t know anything about the links betwen celtic with other parts of the world specially with Mexico. you could find any surprises. Celtic people is very important in Cs transcription. maybe you only read.Read is one thing but understand what you read is another. You only see the form not the interior.

I think Alana made a valid question ... not everyone needs to know everything, even though, I know Spanish and I do live in Mexico too, I don't know what is the meaning behind the song and the relationship between erotics, esoterics, celts and C's ... would you explain it to me too?

I tend to agree. Caballero reyes, there is no need to be rude in your replies to people when they've simply asked you a question.

Hi,mabar. It's obvious nobody needs to knows everything, but is difficult to me understand that people of this forum don't understand the meaning of words "esoteric" and "erotic". Maybe you think "erotic" is sexual penetration only or "esoteric" only refers to secret society.
It is no convenient for nobody in this forum to make spiderwebs with the words.

Perhaps instead of finding fault with everyone other than yourself, you could simply answer the question you were asked?

caballero reyes, everybody on this forum understand perfectly well the meaning of the words, but you still haven't answered mine or mabar's question. When I asked you

I am not sure what the song is about. How do you see it being related to "erotics and esoterics in mexican music"

I really meant it. I am curious of the meaning of the song (I actually have it on my playlist and listen to it quite often), and how you think it relates to erotics and esoterics, and celts and mexico. From your replies you read (to me at least) that you are getting on the defensive. Whatever you read in my question that led you feel that you need to defend yourself, or offend me, let me assure you that it is not there.

hi, Anart. It is not my intension to be rude with Alana.
I post a song:"La bruja" and a stylized ballet based in this song. In the ballet, the woman (the witch) dance and levitates, this the esoteric and the erotic side of this dance. In mexico like in others part of the world the energy of the dancers is offered to the virgen (Tonantzin) like in presents days and in ancient Mexico this energy was offered to the gods lizards, all historians knows that. this is all I can answer, is very simple. I don't post often becauce is difficult to me to write in english. I can't write big explanations.

I think that makes sense, thank you for making the effort to explain.

Hi, Alana. You give me a lesson this day because maybe I don't wrote correctly the answers and I must be careful and don't post any controversial topic until I learn to Write fluently.
I realized you are interesed only in the song, in the meaning of the song and all I've wrote is about the song IN the stylized ballet version. Here is the answer to yours questions. I'll try to translate the song or at least some verses.

Yes, I see now. Thank you for explaining. Like I mentioned above, I found the translation http://lyrics.wikia.com/Salma_Hayek_And_Los_Vega:La_Bruja

I know, it refers to Salma Hayak's version, but this is the only translation I found, and I don't even know if it is correct, so I'd appreciate your input.

I guess I confused myself from what it was to understand from what I was understanding (wrongly, I am too dense sometimes) and just for the record, ... I did not thought what you thought that I maybe think regarding to the meaning of "erotic" and "esoteric" words.
