The Force is Strong With This One
I've finally had time to continue reading on psychopathy again. (I've been very busy with work...which will pick up again soon.)
I'm left with "Wow, wow, wow..." as I read The Sociopath Next Door. I'm in Chapter Five: why conscience is partially blind. It describes my ex-mental-health-cult-recovery-specialist-therapist to a tee. I've read this kind of stuff before with the same "wow, wow, wow." I guess at some point it won't be so "wowish".
I don't recall if I stated that on my blog on the side bar I have a statement in response to my ex-therapist's accusations that he made online toward me (and others). I don't won't to post the link directly because I don't want his name to come up here on search engines. But, if anyone is interested to see what appears to be a sociopath unravel...one can read my response and follow links on my response.
The link on my right side bar is under "Pages" and begins with the words "My statements addressing...." (I get it if folks aren't interested or might be but don't have the time/energy. It's another classic complicated web of distortion.)
All that to say, there is (finally, after two years), an upcoming hearing before the state licensing board in the state (from which my ex-therapist fled) where he is licensed. It will probably be a couple months before any disciplinary determinations (if there are any) are publicly posted.
