Sott Team!:).

It is a Relief to have you all SOTT back. The last two down periods of SOTT have generated a couple of unrelated questions for me:

1. Is there going to be any extension of the matching donation time for us procrastinators or should we just double the amount we intended to send as soon as we are able to relieve our conscience?

2. Because I am not technologically literate regarding computers, I have wondered for a long time how easy is it for the PTB to identify forum, sott&casschat members from their email discussions? Pretty simple I suspect--how likely does the SOTT team think this is?

3. If SOTT is so heavily under attack as it appears to be, should we considered ourselves identified? monitored?
watched? I feel like a minor player--a nobody, but I know the C's said "Nobody is a nobody." so . . . ?

4. If Forum members are already "identified"/ under surveillance, then are we any more at risk if we communicate privately with other SOTT/CASS/FORUM members through other email?

5. I know people, with good reason and I am one of them, are WARY of revealing personal identifying information, but if the risk is the same whether one is communicating on SOTT more or less "publicly" or emailing each other directly, then are some SOTT members open to communicating with other SOTT members through email "off the Forum/SOTT" record so to speak? So when SOTT/CASS goes down or, Laura and Ark Forbid!, SOTT is disappeared some day--then we can maintain some contact with each other? If so then is there any discussion on how members think this could work?

These are my little paranoid thoughts on these matters--I am wondering if other Forum members have similar ideas and questions? Thanks.

Good questions, shellycheval. I am only speaking for myself here, not the Signs page or anything, but I think it is useful to distinguish between "them" observing or monitoring us and them doing something to us.

To my knowledge no one has reported anyone doing anything to people posting on the forum. But, yes, probably EVERYTHING is monitored in some way. We have to assume that. But they can probably also listen to all your conversations as well. So yes, I don't think there is any additional risk in donating money. Also, all the surveilance is probably designed to allow them to predict large scale movements and trends. Think of V for Vendetta and the trucks that went around sampling keywords in private conversations to get an idea of what people thought of The Leader.

And, as Laura points out, the phone bugging and email monitoring that the US gov't uses is most likely done to monitor other members of the ruling class, not average citizens. My gut feeling is that they don't give a rat's tail what average people think, especially individual average people. But they probably do care what a four-star general thinks, or a senator or the head of a media conglomerate thinks.

So, if once a year, they take the Signs page down for a few days (it can take a few months to build traffic back up on an internet site that is down for that long) or change the algorithm Google uses to rank pages, or make sure their Cointelpro sites don't link to the Signs page, they don't have to do much, in their mind, beyond that. Remember they usually work on the basis of achieving their goals with the least amount of effort.

Just some thoughts...

Good distinction Donald--thanks. I wasn't acknowledging that the C's, Pleidians, and other STO 4th and 6th density entities are also aware of our thoughts, words and behaviors--probably more than the dark forces of the PTB, and I was not making the distinction between the PTB "observing/monitoring" and "doing" something to SOTT members.

I wasn't worried so much about the risk of donating money, as I am about how members feel about meeting in person and networking with other SOTT members in alternative ways, especially when SOTT is down. Since my previous post I have found a discussion thread on "What's On Your Mind?" that answers most of my questions about SOTT members emailing each other privately and meeting in person and will continue my communication on that topic there. thanks

The left and the right part of the page http://www.sott.net/signs/editorial_list_author.php seem to be damaged by the last server troubles:

HERE SERVER RESPONSE
just for future , i would suggest to not post such things on public forum , rather email it to admin
it gives waaay to much info for potential attacker
