Sorry for any one who may be planning to listen in. We will attempt to send out the trial internet broadcast thing starting from around 19:30 /20:00 GMT not 20:30 as stated below.Cheers.

Next week the 27th of August We will be playing our first official gig and hopefully sending it out live via the internet so any one interested in hearing us can listen in.

Only last week the band was finally completed with drummer and bass guitarist joining us.So we are now a 5 piece band.
On fridayl we are going to practice sending out a live signal in preparation for next weeks gig , starting around 20:30 -21:00 Greenwich mean time.
This is for a private company bash that Sonny the guitarist has arranged , so itwill be in front of an audience.

If some one could listen in and give us some feed back regarding sound quality etc it would be much appreciated.
It will be at 64kbps and stereo. (this may change to 56kbps)

In the past some people can hear the broadcast and others cant and I dont know why this is , but refreshing the page sometimes helps , but not always.

Away With The Fairys are also in a studio situation where a CD will be released within the the next month or two.

The live internet broadcast trial can be heard at

http://www.awaywiththefairys.com I will put links that open up Quicktime , wmp , and so on later tomorrow evening.

Thanks

Cool as always AWTF!!, and congratulations for the next CD release, i can´t way to listen.

Take care :)

Think its best to write about time correction here just in case some one will listen in .Dont want to waste peoples time.So tonight from around 19:30/20:00.

Sounds good - listening with QuickTime at the moment. There is a high frequency warble-like interference, but other than that, it's quite clear. :)

Cheers Anart!
Thanks for listening.
Someone kicked out the cable during the set , so im sure you or others would have maybe got a terrible buzz or other interference sound right up to the end.. So one to watch out for next time.

Internet Upload speed from the venue was not very much about 86kbps so i was a little worried , so i set the transmission to 56kbps and stereo to 44.100 hertz before sending to the server.

Should have some lyrics ready by next fridays gig :)

Overall we were pleased how it went considering we as a full band now are still new to each other , tonight being our third time together.

Much to reflect upon. Once again thanks.
