Well, this was a very surprising thing to find on the web for me. I came across this movie by surprise, never heard about it. Honestly the movie is not that great, but that doesn't mean the story is bad. It's about a girl that suffered from depression, bipolar disorder, attempted suicide and was addicted to drugs and alcohol.

A friend of her wrote her story, and started this huge community with people sharing their struggles and it became a non profit organization.

What I thought it was valuable from this is that the organization realizes the power of being supported by a community, which it of course reminded me of how being around healthy people, sharing and learning from each other is very important to overcome addictions.

Beyond treatment, we believe community is essential. People need other people. We were never meant to do life alone.
