Just putting this out there as a discussion thread, and in light of Trumps stance on trade renegotiating and of walls; these are the things that the TNC's (trans-national corporations) with their political and media clappers seem most concerned about. This perhaps is part of why so much focus and vitriol has been thrown at Trump. Walls, they have been talked about long before Trump, yet the mechanisms of these trade agreements want seamlessness between all nations whereby some signed on because they would be economically and likely militarily hurt if they did not, and the TNC's needed agreements. These agreements are part of a design in the liquidation of a countries assets via privatization, law suites and taxpayer subsidies (corp-welfare state) along with the demise of a countries very sovereignty: the agreements are akin to a parasitic economic Trans-National mechanism.
Nothing new here, yet from a Canadian political system that was 'instrumental' in the agreements fruition from back in the Mulroney/Reagan - Bush Sr./Chrétien/Clinton - Bush Jr./Martin - Harper/Bush - Obama era with its triumph welcomed under Obama and later under Clinton was very likely (TTP agreement). Yet again, Canada has been willing instruments.
