Triangular flying object just flew over my house

Today we celebrate in Quebec our national holiday. Returning home from the festivity, live band and fireworks, my daughter asked me to try a flying gadget that we bought in Paris last may. It a sling shot that catapult a winged stick with a light that should spiral slowly down. Of course the thing wont work as it should but after a few try as we were following it on it way up, we, me my wife and daughter, saw a flash of strobe light where their was nothing before and from it, appeared a triangular flying object with three amber light at each end of the triangle. It flew over us silently, no noise of jet engine or propeller and no regular green light or red light on the left and right wing as prescribe by regulation. It was quit low, I estimate between 5 to 10 thousands feet, the night was clear no cloud at all as is usual after a cold front from the north west. It flew from west to east and once it passed over head, we could see that the 3 lights didn't flash but were continuous and as it flew away, the front light dimmed down but the 2 at the rear were still visible. It was visible for about 15 sec. from the initial strobe flash till it flew behind the tree line.
This is not my first sighting of unusual flying object but it was the first one with other witnesses. Well, the last 2 days have been out of the ordinary, yesterday 5.0 or more earthquake and today U.F.O. who drop by during the St-Jean baptiste celebration. What surprise is up for tomorrow, as we say here jamais deux sans trois, never two with out three. Time for a last cigarette and walk the dog now and maybe see some more high strangeness in the clear night sky. Good night!

Don't worry Aragorn, we didn't wave at them or attempted to attract their attention and I did read John Kell book. We just stood there in total surprise, my wife speechless and my daughter not really knowing what was going on. When it appeared within a strobe like flash, I said what is that and just told my wife and daughter to watch and try to pay attention to detail. The sky was clear and the almost full moon was to the south so the sky was not totally black, more grayish. We easily discerned the triangular black shape as it was much darker than the sky in the back ground. I logged 250 hrs of flight time and passed my professional pilot license in the early 90. I know what to look for and where to look on a plane for the standard light beacon and this one last night wasn't standard at all. Me and my wife feel fine this morning, my daughter is still asleep so will know more when she get up but, as the "C"s say, knowledge protect.

Laurentien, all I can say is ... be careful. From what you are saying, it looks to me the strobe of lite was to get your attention (you, wife, kid) but it is my impression that it was more for them (wife and kid) then for you (just my impression).

Anyways, did you try contacting any news or something local asking for any strange object in the sky ?

Obviously the object was hanging there on purpose, I mean, many people were out that day.


edit: actually my impression may not be a good one at all! After all, it was a gathering of many people ...right?

Well, the last 2 days have been out of the ordinary, yesterday 5.0 or more earthquake and today U.F.O. who drop by during the St-Jean baptiste celebration. What surprise is up for tomorrow, as we say here jamais deux sans trois, never two with out three.

Yeah, what next! Pretty unusual goings on lately around Ontario/Quebec. Glad you are all ok, that was quite a bit of high strangeness indeed.

We were back home but the celebration were still on in a park 2 km away. The path followed by the object must have passed directly over the park so yes, maybe someone else saw it and reported it. I will search the web later, there is OVNI Quebec and some others site that receive report from all over the province.

I can't say why it choose to appear at the exact moment we were looking in that area of the sky unless, as you say, it wanted to have our attention. As I said in my original post, I have seen many other strangeness in the last year and a half, since I started to read the wave and other material in the forum and others. Probably because I'm paying attention to my surrounding and been aware since of our reality, I try to kept my eyes open all the time. Maybe they were "targeting" my wife and daughter, who know, but for what reason. Both know quit well what my activity are concerning the forum and the FOTCM, my wife may not accept the bigger picture but accept my esoterical quest, my soul quest. She joined me in the detox program because it is something she always believe in but, as show no interest in probing the material. She as try the EE program but had no inner motivation and abandoned it after a few time. I respect her choice and she respect mine, was this a wake-up call for her. As for my daughter, she know little but I do share with her basic information on psychology and psychopathy. I had no choice after she was aggressed by a friend and her brother. She was 8, and her two aggressor were 7 and 5 but that is another story, there was no physical consequence but it could have left a severe trauma in her psyche, that's why I felt that she needed to know about aggressive character and now, she is observing the feeding interaction at school, the influence and the hierarchical struggle in her environment. Kid need to know, it's just to find the right way to share knowledge with them with out traumatizing them.

I had a similar experience in Oregon several years or so ago, and
reported that experience to Mufon. It was both exciting and eerie
at the same time. There were no amber lights in my case, just 3
white "stars" aligned in triangular position, moving very slowly like
an inkblot "eating" background stars, and then after about 15 minutes
later, it moved at a much faster pace disappearing to the Southeast.

It was a sombering experience for me, because I kept asking myself
if what I saw was really there, or simply my mind playing games with
me - since I was alone when I saw it. But in your case, you are lucky
to have other witnesses (your family) with you, as it reinforces that
what you saw was not a figment of your imaginations!

As the C's say, we will see more and more of this to come...

Yes Dant, it is a sombering experience, my wife to whom I told my others experience didn't really believed me but last night she was speechless. Last year I saw a black helicopter flying less than 500 hundred feet over the refuge where I go for a walk on a mountain top. Unfortunately I was alone with my 2nd density friend. It was last August, after reading a new session I went for a walk and stopped at the refuge to do spinning and pipe breathing. While doing the breathing, I hear the sound of a helicopter coming my way but that is not unusual here so, I finish my breathing, I didn't want to be distracted. 5 min. later, after I finished my breathing the same turbine sound come back, I'm sure it was the same sound, and since I finished my exercise I got up and observe that totally black chopper of a model that I never saw before. When I say totally black it was, from the front to the end, the windshield was as black as the rest of the chopper, i Couldn't discern anything inside and their was no matriculation at all, neither on it belly or on the tail. There was no glass on the side of it, just black metal and I couldn't see a door. That was just one of many other encounter, I never told anyone but my wife, didn't think that it was really special or because some happened in the middle of the night and I guess, I wasn't event sure if these thing were their or if it was my imagination, or like you wrote my mind playing games with me. Anyway, I felt that I could share this last night sighting because we all saw the same thing and I felt sure that it was not my imagination.

I checked on the net but didn't find anything, no other witness came forward so far but I will kept my eyes and ears open, their might be some thing in the local new paper next week.

That is what we saw last June 24 night, This photo was taken in Belgium in June 1990. The only difference is the center light was not on the triangle that we saw otherwise it is the same.

Hmm... really creepy. At least it solidifies your position.
In my case - a "covert" inkblot style UFO is hard to ascertain! ;)
