Trump Elected: The True MAGA Era Begins, Now What?

This thread's title asks, "Now What?" Based on Trump's stated economic goals and attempted policies, it seems clear to me that he is attempting to avoid the conditions that the rest of the developed West is facing. "Managed decline" is the term that has moved over from the corporate world and become popular to describe the deterioration we are witnessing.

There are now scores of YouTube videos documenting what's happening economically in Canada, the UK, and Australia, one by one, particularly the erosion of the middle classes that once defined these nations. Now, more videos and articles note the striking similarities among the three, and to what happened during the fall of Rome.

If interested, I saw a new video published on May 10 that I think is a good, brief, densely informational summary that mostly rings true, especially that decline appears deliberate and from a single blueprint, and the leaders of these nations, despite rhetoric, are doing nothing substantial to prevent collapse, but do prevent national populations from uniting to resist. Contrast that with what Trump seems to be trying to do (more isolationist, circle the wagons kind of stuff) and see if it doesn't seem different.

San Diego Board of Supervisors. Wow! This woman nails them. "Are you all pedophiles?

More dirt on Harvard. Rep. Jayapal is from the crazed state of Washington so not a surprise.

MSM is obviously trying to bury or minimize the Comey threat story using the most benign definitions of "86". DId a Google AI last night after the story broke:

Found this one:

Article from 2019-Ask George: Where Does the Term “86’d” Come From?
Many say the term has military roots. The term originated during the Korean war, a reference to the F-86 fighter jet; when an F-86 shot down an enemy plane, it was 86’d.

The United States also has a Uniform Code of Military Justice that has an Article 86: Absence Without Leave, a.k.a AWOL.

The term was derived from military shorthand. Rotary phones had T on the 8 key and O on the 6 key, so to throw out (TO) something was to 86 it.
It has different meanings around the concept of getting rid of it.

What strikes me is the blatant obviousness.

Hmm. My take on this thread is all these issues that are happening in the USA are the ones Trump and his team as well as the public are taking on at this time in the Trump era. He's gone after all the issues I've spoken of with EO's etc, such as trans sexuality taught in schools and the radicalization of students in the universities and the deeper aspects of that. Plus the illegal problem and more. So this thread is only for what Trump says and does (but he's all about these things). Since this forum is largely international I thought it would be informative to give the broader picture for those outside the country although it would be nice if people in the US would actually post here which doesn't happen much. Your comment is a real surprise to me. In my mind what I post is all about Trump in that these are the problems he's taking on and speaks of.

Another thought, in the title the maga era is mentioned. To me the MAGA movement or era is much broader then just Trump but involves an entire nation of people and how they are dealing with these challenges they elected Trump to rectify.

FDA greenlights 3 natural food dyes as synthetic toxins get phased out under RFK Jr.

05/16/2025 // Cassie B.

The FDA has approved three new natural food dyes—galdieria extract blue, butterfly pea flower extract, and calcium phosphate—replacing synthetic dyes linked to health risks like hyperactivity and cancer.
  • Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is leading a push to eliminate petroleum-based artificial dyes by 2026, marking a major win for clean food advocates.

  • Major food companies like PepsiCo and Tyson Foods are already reformulating products in response to the FDA’s initiative, signaling industry compliance with public health priorities.

  • Industry groups warn of supply chain disruptions and higher costs, but the FDA dismisses these concerns, citing evidence of health risks from synthetic dyes like Red 40 and Yellow 5.

  • This decision reflects a broader cultural shift toward removing toxic additives from food, aligning with the "Make America Healthy Again" movement for safer, cleaner consumer options.
The FDA has approved three new natural food dyes—galdieria extract blue, butterfly pea flower extract, and calcium phosphate—as part of a sweeping initiative to phase out petroleum-based synthetic dyes linked to hyperactivity, behavioral issues in children, and even cancer. Under the leadership of Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., the agency is pushing for a complete transition away from toxic artificial colorants by the end of 2026, marking a major victory for health-conscious consumers and advocates of clean, unadulterated food.

The decision comes after years of pressure from public health groups demanding the removal of synthetic dyes like Red 40, Yellow 5, and Blue 1, which have long been staples in processed foods despite their questionable safety. Major food companies, including PepsiCo and Tyson Foods, have already begun reformulating products in response to the FDA’s push in a rare but welcome instance of corporate compliance with public health priorities.

The new natural dyes

The newly approved natural dyes offer vibrant, safe alternatives to synthetic counterparts. Galdieria extract blue, derived from red algae, provides a rich blue hue for beverages, cereals, candy, and yogurt. Butterfly pea flower extract, already used in teas and sports drinks, can now enhance snacks like chips, pretzels, and crackers with its striking blue-to-purple shades. Calcium phosphate, a mineral-based white colorant, has been approved for use in chicken products, candy coatings, and doughnut sugars.

Unlike synthetic dyes, which are derived from petroleum and linked to health risks, these natural options are free from harmful chemicals. “For too long, our food system has relied on synthetic, petroleum-based dyes that offer no nutritional value and pose unnecessary health risks,” Kennedy said in a statement. “We’re removing these dyes and approving safe, natural alternatives—to protect families and support healthier choices.”

Industry resistance

While health advocates celebrate the move, some industry groups remain skeptical. The International Association of Color Manufacturers (IACM) warned that the transition could disrupt supply chains and raise food prices, arguing that synthetic dyes are “rigorously studied” and deemed safe by regulators. However, this stance ignores mounting evidence linking artificial dyes to health problems, including cancer in animal studies—a risk that prompted the FDA to ban Red 3 earlier this year.

FDA Commissioner Martin Makary dismissed industry concerns, emphasizing the agency’s commitment to swift action. “FDA staff have been moving quickly to expedite the publication of these decisions, underscoring our serious intent to transition away from petroleum-based dyes in the food supply and provide new colors from natural sources,” he stated.

A turning point for food safety

This shift represents more than just a regulatory update; it’s a cultural reckoning with the toxic additives that have infiltrated the American food supply for decades. Under Kennedy’s leadership, the FDA is finally prioritizing prevention over profit, aligning with the “Make America Healthy Again” (MAHA) movement’s mission to eliminate harmful chemicals from everyday products.

While challenges remain, including supply chain adjustments and potential cost increases, the approval of these natural dyes signals a brighter, cleaner future for food. As more companies embrace the change, consumers can look forward to safer, more wholesome options on store shelves.

Well, ok. I've considered that in the past with this topic. This is a part of the ongoing challenge in the USA however which I suppose people are aware of.
Pedophelia is an ongoing issue worldwide, not specific to the US. This thread "Trump Elected: The True MAGA Era Begins, Now What?" is about Trump, his cabinet and their political maneuvers and visa versa with other world leaders regarding the US. It's not about pedophilia.

Of course its not about pedophilia and had no intention of taking it in that direction. I think the post about Comey's daughter though is pertinent to the current event even though she's working on the Diddy case and Maxwell earlier. Further discussion on that would be under the Diddy thread.

While President Trump is traveling in Saudi Arabia and vicinity, making a deal with Iran, etc the beach shell message may have had another intent, or a warning. It is very odd.
from Sept 11, 2001 to May 15, 2025 is 8647 days.

Whoa...! Who came up with this number?

It appears to be correct, good catch.

Here is one of the places where it can be checked:

Does Comey act as a kind of messenger to "go ahead with another 9/11"? Though it does seem that "getting rid of Trump" is also in that message.
