Trump Elected: The True MAGA Era Begins, Now What?

Musk is floating support for impeachment:
Musk's inflated ego has skyrocketed, and he's acting more like a child now as Trump continues to troll him, exposing Elon's true side.

I never trusted Musk, and never will.

Live Updates: Feud Between Trump and Elon Musk Escalates in Public View
A rift between President Trump and billionaire backer Elon Musk erupted Thursday with the two trading insults.

Opinion

In that case I don't think Elon would have posted that Trump was in the Epstein files. Even if Trump went to the island and did nothing wrong (or nothing wrong *knowingly* as the Cs suggested), his image will be stained. It will be very hard for the public to believe he's innocent.

I'm just hoping against all hope that this will result in the attention turned towards Epstein's sponsors in Israel.
Elon is either being given bad information, or hes outright lying. Which would be a testament to his character.

Millions of people were relying on Elon and Trump working together. I guess like anything else in this world, it was just false hope.

I asked grok to give me a synopsis of the bill Trump is advocating, and it seems to me like one of the best bills a government has introduced, at least recently. Sure, spending will increase.. does that really matter at this point? All American dollars are taxed right out the gate to begin with, debt is literally impossible to not accrue in staggering quantities.

On the flip side you have tax cuts(albeit, high income earners see more benefit here). You have SNAP cuts, which are being entirely exploited by parasites to begin with(perhaps a better approach is to find out who is abusing them and dealing with them accordingly).. Medicaid in the US isn't something I know enough about, but if its anything like Canada, the amount of wasted dollars is astronomically high.

Money to expand deportations, which should be very high priority IMO, they are purposely flooding western countries with criminals in large quantities, on top of the other glaring issues of mass immigration. Defense spending is a given, this is America after all.

Taking taxes off tips and overtime, something that should be standard in any society. An increase to the child tax benefit, don't see anything wrong with this.

Reducing tax credits for EVs and "green energy"(I think maybe this might be one of the reasons Elon is reacting the way he is, even though he has claimed in the past to not care about it). The climate hoax has got to go.

Gender affirming care ban. The fact tax payers even had to foot this bill in the first place is absolutely absurd. If some deranged person wants to mutilate themselves and become a cross dressing terrorist, they should pay for it themselves. It will also stop all these freaks, who I can only assume are largely OP's, from forcing their kids to transition.

There is also a bit about leaving AI regulation in the hands of the federal government, instead of state governments.. Which I don't have much thought about. In my opinion the AI takeover wont even need to be forced on us, they will just make it convenient enough to where you have to use it while progressively adding more control/surveillence measures.

It is pretty dissapointing to see them both lower themselves to the point of petty tweet exchanges, the democrats must be licking their lips. I personally don't trust either one of them. All we are going to get from this is another fragmentation where we need unification. Dumb.

For What It's Worth: This meme has been making the rounds amongst conservative sites. Some think this billionaire bromance break-up is staged. Both Trump and Elon are capable of trolling or actual petty chip-on-the-shoulder behavior. Best to wait it out before one understands what's really going on. For now, enjoy the show and remember Trump was once praised by the Florida prosecutor for being helpful in the case against Epstein. If Trump really was a p-d-file, why jail Epstein and Ghilaine Maxwell during his first run? So, yeah, Trump is most likely mentioned in the Epstein files, but not the way a lot of people might think.

Could be.

Officially the White House has called the event an "unfortunate episode".

I do wonder if this will somehow end up in everyone asking for the Epstein files to be released or some form of it. I wonder if Elon is in those files and that's why he fired at Trump with it.

Then again, I wonder what else we may be missing that is taking place right now that this is all a distraction for.

Now, here's the real tragedy of this, Elon and Trump are ostensibly fighting about money, not any of Trump's actually questionable positions on anything, nope... it's plain old money, allegedly.

What is Musk supposed to have wanted changed?
The removal of subsidies for electric vehicles. This and the hit Tesla took from its left-leaning target customers looks like the most likely reason for Musk's behaviour. While his stated reason (no reduction of government spending) seems to be a cover story.

Getting the Democrats to demand the Epstein files because of expected dirt on Trump seems very unlikely, since they (or their "bosses") know what is in the files and who is implicated.

What Elon needs to realise is, wanting to push for expensive legacy vanity projects to Mars while trying to appeal to the bleeding hearts of modern America to the plight of a largely insular minority in a completely different hemisphere half way around the world wishing to carry on as torch-bearers an apparently outmoded Old World-style colonial-esque system all too eerily reminiscent of the once 'bitter-taste' cotton plantations of the old Deep South back home, just isn't MAGA.🇺🇸

IMO, whatever else is going on with Musk, he is addicted to attention and mass adoration, which gave him a big "high" during the heyday of DOGE and the Trump-Musk team. After he had been sidetracked, he lost that sort of clout, and even changed his name on X (perhaps to get in front of the inevitable loss of reach/relevance). Now by generating this sort of stink, he is back in the limelight, shapes the discourse, and is back to tens of millions of views. All of this doesn't say much about the substance of the beef, but to me it seems this dynamic is part of the picture here.

While I have not researched deeply what just happened between Trump and Musk, what you are suggesting seems to mostly correspond with what Trump said recently about the situation during the meeting with Merz (german chancellor).

Still no balls to mention Israel...

Oh, JD Vance, who worked at Mithril Capital for Peter Thiel, the same person who launched Palantir, which DOGE probably used to analyze and consolidate government databases (or were they incredibly smart and wrote their own software in record time?). The same Thiel who was CEO of PayPal (a rebrand from X.com after merger) and invested in BlackRock Neurotech, which will benefit from HHS's "Internet of Bodies". It really looks like Big Tech takeover of the administration. It's good that Musk's tantrum is revealing that.
