Thanks for your input, as it allows me to address a subject, which I will do below, after I respond to your comments.

My understanding of this form is to network. To network would be sharing divers perspectives to a given subject or in this case a “thread” we use for discussion, networking, and sharing of viewpoints. If we all shared the same thoughts and opinions and just repeated them back to each other being careful stay in the “approved” thought patterns, I would not be here. I have been in just such associations before and left them in search of networking especially about what we don’t know. And that takes different perspectives with shared goals. Not to mention, mutual respect. Lack of respect will shut down the sharing of ideas quite rapidly, then welcome to the echo chamber. If the forum was to become an echo chamber it would no longer suit my purposes as a place of learning IMO.

"Hysterical": It come across to me as you calling me hysterical. IMO that is an ad hominem. I learned from early training in oratory and debate, that once someone uses an ad hominen they lose. Why? Because they failed to address the subject and instead attacked the speaker. Which shows lack of an idea or argument. The debate is done, and the fostering of resentments begin.

“Stop it Im not having any of this”: You are not a moderator, ambassador, or administrator. IMO you are trying to impose your position over the other form members that you do not have. And you seem to be doing that, to shut down what doesn’t match your thoughts on the subject without any explanation of why the view point is wrong in your opinion. IMO you are trying to take charge of the thread by telling people that you disagree with, to “stop” I won’t have it! With all do respect: I wont stop. But your welcome to address the topic if you like.

In this thread I can see that we, IMO obviously have a pro Trump MAGA leaning group, and a critical of the Trump team group. Personally, I see both sides. Even recently I have been involved in group prayers for Trump, yet I remain critical of EVERYTHING that is going on around us here in the states. We don’t pray that Trump to “do good” we pray that he be given a chance and have protection enough to have insight, and then chose which path he takes. Paraphrased but close. It will probably be a mixed bag of what actually happens. The question I'm asking myself lately is:

Can we stop the ending of the cosmic cycle with hope and prayer?

Can we stop Karma with prayer?

When does optimism become wishful thinking?

The article you posted was talking about Trump Nazis throwing American citizens into concentration camps, and I'm not having any of THAT hysteria.

Does this mean Canada is cooperating now with the boarder as well as trade? But, the northern boarder is much bigger then these particular states. Plenty of other places to cross with no population and wilderness areas. We'll see.

I’m not angry as I write this. This is not that big of a thing, or it shouldn’t be, it’s just how networks sort themselves out. I appreciate your presents here on the form, you have had good stuff to share and sometimes your direct to-the-point way of getting at things is refreshing. So please carry on.

The “stop it” thing: I’m assuming you are aware that capitalizing something is generally considered shouting. So, shouting at someone else to “stop it” while sharing their opinion, IMO is trying to take control of them, their opinion, and send a warning to all other listening. That does make for a healthy environment for others to share “different” opinions that may help sort through whatever it is they have on the table that they are trying to understand better. Having said this, I am not telling you to stop it. Go on doing what you do. But, I do not accept your authority over this thread, this forum or me and my opinion.

Until the administration of this forum makes an announcement the daddycat is in charge of the MAGA thread, and has all authority on what is said, shared, and to control the opinions of others on the thread, I won’t obey your demands. I will see them simply as daddycat’s opinion and style of expression. Again, I'm not angry as I write this. Just expressing my "opinion" as part of this forum.


@SummerLite thank you for your thoughts and your question. Although recently I have thought a lot about our prison system and even gone through how I would do it better, I am going to decline to answer, at least at this time. Emotions on this thread are high, and it might be better served waiting awhile. Also, whatever I say or don’t say, may be taken as defending a position or being aggressive toward someone else’s position and get us nowhere.

As long as Trump goes along with the technocrats ($500 billion "Stargate AI") and the psychopathic Zionists/Mossad (free speech restrictions, military attacks), he does seem to be headed in a nazi-like direction.

The only hope is that as the C's have indicated that he is being misled by the technocrats and may see it at some point. He does not seem to be fully controlled by the Zionists either and can say no to their attack plans, at least for now.
 
Hey now, @daddycat and @Adobe I think there has just been a misunderstanding of communication/words. In a format like this I think someone’s tone is often misconstrued.

I took it as daddycat was being cheeky by saying stop it. And then his response was saying to throw the article in the “stop it bin.” So, he was saying throw it in the trash. I don’t think that was a direct attack at Adobe. I don’t think he was telling you, @Adobe to actually stop.

I understand Adobe’s point of view and yes all of us should absolutely be able to post opposing viewpoints without being attacked. That is paramount in free speech and why we are all here to learn and grow from each other.

I think this was a simple misunderstanding. Maybe I’m way off base and it was a direct attack, but I didn’t get that tone.

Yes, people being tortured and unfairly imprisoned is serious. But none of us will actually find the truth if we are arguing amongst each other.

Maybe there should have been an LOL after the first stop it.

Trump argues that it would take too long to give all of them a trial, completely omitting that the US could simply send them back to their country of origin - no trials necessary in this case.

The Supreme Court seems to be correct in that sending people to a foreign prison without trial or due process is unconstitutional, even if they are illegally in the US.
