Three Dead, Hundreds Evacuated as Waves Hit Coastline From Mexico to Chile
Big waves lashing the Pacific coast from Mexico to Chile left three people dead and one missing, forcing hundreds to evacuate from the coastline. The rough weather is expected to last four more days.
One person drowned in Mexico, the other two were swept into the ocean in Panama and Chile. A teenager, aged 14, is missing in El Salvador.
Waves up to four meters high were recorded along the coast of Mexico.
