It was some time last year when I had these two dreams. I'm really not sure what to think of them, so I thought I'd share them and see if anyone had any thoughts.
In the first dream I am walking on the sidewalk of a city street, looking at all the buildings on the opposite side, when all of a sudden a new facade comes up out of the ground in front of every single building. It happens so fast it's almost in the blink of an eye, and every building, everywhere I look is now solid blue with yellow trim, yellow writing, yellow accent. It looks pretty much like every business is now owned by the same company or proprietor. As I approach a certain building I understand that I am supposed to go to work inside, but this new 'colour scheme' is frightening me so I refuse to go in. That was pretty much it.
When I thought about it later, the new world order/one world government idea came to mind. Or at least the idea of everything being run by the same group. But blue and yellow? Like maybe Sweden is poised to take over the world?
A few weeks later I had another dream. This time I am walking on a downtown street with my daughter when I look up in the sky to see a missile somewhat slowly descending toward the large building across the street. The missile itself is the same blue colour from the other dream with a nose cone and fins of the same yellow. It slams into the building, exploding and sending debris flying everywhere. I grab my daughters hand and we start running for shelter, for now there are missiles coming down all around us and the city is being reduced to rubble.
As we are scrambling for our lives I notice that all the people running around in the streets are Arabs. For some reason I am aware that we are in the 'Arab side of town', and that if we want to find safety we must reach the 'Jewish side of town'. We scramble over the remains of a wall and head toward a door. When we enter we have reached safety, but I am now alone. I am walking through high marble pillars, and I can hear the sound of a choir singing - it seems to be a church.
When I get past the pillars I see my mom kneeling in the pews, holding a book open and singing along with the choir (which I can't see). She seems to be the lead voice in this choir. I go and kneel beside her, and she is visibly pleased that I have come to join her. I take the book and hold it open for her, but after a bit I let the book close. As soon as I do this she loses her place and gets all flustered. But because my finger still marks the page, I open it right back to the same place and she is able to continue.
At this point I get up and walk back near the pillars to a curving staircase that rises up to a level above the room we are in. At the top I find a fancy lectern with a very large old book on it, facing the same pillars from below that keep rising upward indefinitely. Stepping up to the lectern I see that the book is filled with lines written in some script that I've never seen before. After a moment of confusion I seem to know what to do. I start singing. As I do, the script on the page begins to glow and rise out of the page a bit, and my voice becomes very clear, loud and resonates throughout the entire hall. I seem to be singing the words that are written on the page, and a very particular melody associated with them. And that's all I remember.
I've never been able to make anything out of this dream, but I keep wondering what my unconscious mind might have been trying to tell me (if anything at all).
Any thoughts?
