Older news (July 16th 2012) but it doesn't appear to be mentioned on the forum yet. Should I mention sinkholes here or should I only post them to THIS THREAD?

I'm having a little trouble understanding the fascination with sink holes here. Are they supposed to be the harbingers of doom or something? Most common sink holes are traceable to some water source undermining the ground above. As our water and sewage systems age, it not uncommon to have a pipe rupture and cause a sink hole.

Seems to be happening a lot more lately than ever before, and a lot of them are not due to water/sewage plants, like the ones appearing in the middle of a wilderness, etc. The sudden explosion of them lately all over the world are harbingers of something alright, and may tie into the changes in the climate, the drastic increase in earthquakes, cometary dust in the upper atmosphere, etc. So yes, these sinkholes are a "sign of the times", a piece of the puzzle of what's been happening. Have you been reading SOTT at all?

Hi Mashie - have you had a previous account on this forum?

I have read SOTT some, maybe I missed the sinkhole articles. I go back and look them up, thanks.

No, why do you ask?

Okay. I ask because you post from the IP address of a person who called himself 'averagejoe' and was banned for his negative attitude and argumentative behavior. It's fairly common for such types to return to the forum under another username to try to get around the ban, so I thought I'd just come out and ask you if you've had a previous account. Some of your posts are very similar to 'averagejoe's in content and flavor, thus the question.
