UFO fleet over Novi Sad, Serbia

Was you eyewitness?

One of the comments says "don’t be so fast, it is Chinese sky lanterns; people has launched them from the fortress" ("Petrovaradin", fortress near Novi Sad)

It also looks like that. Then again, who knows . . . :)

Looks very interesting.
Watching second video you may come to same conclusion as Avala regarding Chinese lanterns, especially flickering of objects, but on 2. video you can clearly hear camera guy speaking of V shaped, same color lights he saw night before, moving low and very fast. I don't think that Chinese lanterns can fly maintaining formation at very fast speed.

And in 1. video is this fade in and out "effect". Lanterns do not turn off and on again once released, except if they are equipped with sophisticated propulsion, which in this case I doubt.

So I find both vids presenting real celestial phenomenon, not involving Chinese lanterns.

I think they are lanterns because they move very slow and rightly, and they look very small and are very close, and UFO's aren't so small, but they don't have to be UFO's, they can be probes, but I doubt it. I agree that on that area there are sightings because I live in Croatia. In summer when the sky is clear I can see lots of strange things in the sky. When I first started to read about these things, when I went to a walk with my dog I saw light that was closing to me and I was ready to run but I came to populated area so it went slowly. I was very surprised and from then I would watch sky and could see lights. They were not so close but they weren't planes or stars because they moved incorrectly but straigth(they were like swinging from one side to another) in the same time. Planes have blinking lights and this was constantly shining and sometimes it would become weaker, and planes create sound so you can hear them from miles. Once I saw four of them in one evening but they were not toghether or in formation. Maybe they were probes, who knows and I see them almost every night when watching skies. It's suprising how people aren't paying any attention to sky and they are in front of their nose. But I don't think this videos are UFO's , but maybe I'am wrong. ;)

If they're all floating in the same airspace, all have a similar mass/wind resistance, carried by the same currents, then why should they change formation?

[edit]The user who posted the second video has now removed it.

Exactly my point.
If multiple flying objects (supposed lanterns in this case but it can be balloons too) are carried by air stream then it would be highly unlikely for any object to change its position significantly inside such a cluster. But by the end of the 2. video one light ball was like a bit late, so it added a bit of speed to catch the rest of group, something you wouldn't expect from lanterns to do. And one sentence from cameraman was crucial for this whole video. It was when he was recounting last night's event with few similar light balls flying in V shaped formation low and at very fast speed in same area, which is even more unlikely for lanterns to do.
