UFO over Croatian coast?

Tonight while smoking last cigarette before EE, at 22:15 I noticed strong constant white yellow light on a clear night sky a bit right and up from the Betelgeuse, (Orion) around 12-15 degrees over horizon. Unidentified object moved toward the west, I called my husband to see it and while I was calling him, it simply vanished. I could follow the light approximately from 270 to 295 degrees West. It moved almost parallel to the horizon (with slight ascends) and it was visible for 4-5 seconds.


It did not look like meteorite or air traffic or anything else common for the every day sky I'm watching from my balcony.

Dalmatia has had very rich history of UFO sightings. The Mountain Mosor near city of Split is some sort of Balkan area 51 with numerous sightings and even alleged landing sites with marks on the ground and radiation readings.
The most intriguing phenomenon in the region is the island Jabuka with very strong magnetic field which can be very dangerous for the passing ships. There hes been many UFO sightings in the vicinity of this island both by merchandise marines and the navy officials.

Same around Adrion or Biokovo, most of the sightseeing were in late 80' just before the war.

Related to Jabuka, strange place indeed, been on that fero-magnetic rock 6 of times, had migraines 5 times when visited Jabuka (strange enough my father had the same symptoms), funny coincidence. BTW, compass anomalies are 1-4 degrees in zigzag pattern, depending if approaching to the island from the Northern or the Southern side.
