An encounter on the dark side of the moon: 'UFO' spotted soaring above lunar surface in online video

Mysterious object recorded zipping about against the backdrop of the moon
Is it a bird? A plane? or something altogether more unfathomable
Youtube users argue over the authenticity of the 'alien craft'

Anyone care to make an informed call on this one, fake or not fake?

I saw that earlier - considering what they can do with CG these days, and that it's on DailyMail (), I just don't know. It is kind of neat though, the way it zips around near the end of the vid.

I watched it several times and I'm certain there is not ONE but there are TWO dots independently moving, although initially following the same trail.
The one that moves abruptly downward is the second one which is still visible while the first one has already vanished.

I've no real idea what to make of these but I would hazard the guess they might be comet fragments disintegrating.

Saw it on one of our tabloids here in Norway today. CG wasn`t mentioned, but one of the "expects" astrophysicist said that it surely wasn`t UFO. He could see a smoketail.. probably an insect or some dust. :-) He really made no sense at all

Who published this video? Nasa? I like the question they ask:
Is 2013 the year we finally make contact with our brothers from beyond the stars?
. :halo:

Me too I see 2 whatever it is.

I'm not sure about the video either but if they genuine physical objects over the lunar surface I'm not sure it's comet fragments disintegrating - one of them to undertake a near 180 degree reverse movement or so it appears.

Yes, that's quite odd but I considered they appear from the dark side (out of the cold) into the sunny side (rather hot). The first one just disintegrates without leaving a trace and the second one makes those silly moves like some piece of fireworks or something, probably instigated by some sort of jet stream due to the sudden heating and then finally disintegrates as well. Weak argument maybe, but those were my thoughts. :/

**Edited** to add:
it's also on SOTT now: http://www.sott.net/article/256506-To-fake-or-not-to-fake-UFO-spotted-soaring-above-lunar-surface-in-online-video
