UFO tracks Iranian missiles?

The Sun is a crazy tabloid and what ever they publish should be taken with a huge grain of salt and I am not sure how genuine this article is, but worth to watch and follow:

Video is available at their site:

A UFO streaks through the sky in this astonishing video of the Iranians test firing a controversial missile.

The mystery object zooms unseen through Iran's airspace — before splitting a cloud in two as the film focuses in on the soaring rocket.

A UFO expert today described the unknown craft — which appears to be tracking the weapon — as "phenomenal".

Iran launched two short-range missiles last Saturday — angering the West and Israel.

A US report on Fox News revealed the UFO in footage of the second launch.

The video shows the Shahab-3 rocket soaring into the sky.

But after 38 seconds a nearby cloud is mysteriously torn in two by a flying object travelling at speed.

Nick Pope, a respected former UFO analyst for the Ministry of Defence, examined the remarkable footage.

He hinted that whatever ripped through the cloud was not man made.

He said: "One theory is that it's a secret American drone. At any time there are prototype aircraft and drones being operated that won't be shown in public for years.

"Stealth aircraft flew for many years before their existence was acknowledged.

"But the speed and acceleration seems phenomenal. I'm not convinced we've got anything capable of such manoeuvres."

fwiw the way the cloud splits like that....perhaps someone was firing something at the missile to shoot it down....and missed?? Depleted uranium shell perhaps? Only speculation mind as I don't have enough working knowledge of military tech.

I am not a physicist but it could be possibly a passing sound-barrier effect and a shock wave made by it

You know what, the sun appears to be roughly coming from the right in the film, from above the clouds.....could it be as simple as the shadow cast from the missiles smoke produces the dark patch that travels through (over the top of) the cloud? Its exactly the same shape as the trail......

Yes! :D But no!
If so, then the shadow would "start" from left and "develop" to the right side, but this does the exact opposite!

The shadow would start at the left and travel to the right if the sun was lower than the cloud.....as it is I think the sun is above the cloud, so the shadow is cast from the top down......we're looking at the underside of the cloud as the shadow is cast onto the top side of the cloud.....so it travels right to left as the rocket travels past/above the cloud.
I've no idea if I can explain it well....I'm good at visualising things in 3D so I can see it, and if I had a model I could show you.....:P

Actually saying that.........find a room with a strong (needs to be strong) light in it, take a piece of paper and hold it above you, so the light is on your right hand side (And you can see the light through the paper), take a pen and move it slowly (pointing at the ceiling) up past the paper on the right.....you will produce the same shadow effect traveling right to left! :D
