I have a story to tell regarding unusual weddings, my very own. We were married in a church, my wife being a catholic and me with no religion. As the ceremony progressed, the priest was saying his usual things and then as he said, "And lord bless this couple.." and before he could finish the sentence, right after "bless this couple..." there was a loud clap of thunder. A short maybe a second or so, very loud, the kind that gives you a jolt.

Clear blue skies outside with not a sign of any clouds! There was a brief maybe a minute or so of very light showers but no clouds during the reception after the wedding! I have it on tape and someday I'll upload it. To this day, while she thought of it as a sign from heaven, I tell her that, no, it was a warning that she was marrying the "devil" so to speak!! By the way, we are still together, 26 years and counting.
