I've always been bothered by the interpretation of the observed redshift as indicative of an expanding universe. This guy proposes an alternate explanation where the mass of particles is increasing. Whether or not this is the case is questionable, but it's nice to see something challenging the mainstream view every once in a while.
The electric universe theorists have something else entirely to explain the observed redshift if I recall correctly.
This article made me think of something mentioned in one of the transcripts that for some reason I can't find. It was a remark about how we don't know something about the nature of matter on cosmic scales. Something about matter being "bigger" out there. I tried for a while to find it but I can't seem to come across it. If anyone knows what I'm talking about and could point me to the transcript I would appreciate it.
Edit: Changed subject title, didn't mean to put the link as the title
