US warns of al-Qaeda cyber threat

Seems to me like the US Pathocrats are trying to find a plausible lie to cover up the real reasons why the dollar/economy is sinking to new lows. How convenient for them that the Al-Qaeda branch of the CIA are now promoting this story below to try and cover up the real reasons for the decline in the US dollar and financial markets. I wonder though how many people will really believe any of this, as it's a rather obvious attempt to blame current US financial woes on the invisible terrorists.

The US government has warned of an al-Qaeda call to attack US online stock market and banking services.

The threat, seen on an al-Qaeda website, applied to the whole of December.

It was said to be in revenge for the continued detention of suspects at the US prison camp in Guantanamo Bay.

A spokesman for the Department of Homeland Security, Russ Knocke, said there was no evidence to corroborate the threat.

He said the US Computer Emergency Readiness team had issued a "situational awareness report to industry stakeholders".

However, he said it had been issued out of what he called "an abundance of caution".

The warning said the threat called for attacks to begin Friday and run through the month of December.

It is described as an "aspirational threat" and the nature of the warning is particularly vague, the BBC's Guto Harri in New York says.

Ya, conviently validates their holding of said prisoners, scares the public, and furthers their obvious line of attack, the internet. Al Qaeda websites my arse.

You know, it is truly amazing the stuff that these guys come up with. I guess the sad part is that there are those who really believe that this is the case. It's the terrorrists alright. Just not the ones that the PTB would have us believe in.
