Today is Thursday, the 19th of may '11 Quebec Ca.
Just overhead passed , maybe 20m above, a V shaped flaying object (22:36). We were 3 people and we all saw it.
I'm not sure about the size but the lights were stretching about the size of a public bus. The lights were very dim and yellow-ish and I am the only one that saw X-es in the middle of each of the six lights (I haven't counted them, it is what the other 2 said)
At first, it was a V shape and as it flu over, the sides of it came closer and intersected and then I couldn't see anymore because of the trees.
This lasted no more then 10sec. It was silent and very controlled and precise movements.
It is my first siting and it was so close I felt I could touch it. I freaked so quickly that I missed most of the details.
In any case, we were about to shake hands and I was about to make a joke and ask my friend what he was going to do to protect himself on Saturday the 21 of may. Just about when I was opening my mouth to say it, my eyes got glued to those lights.
Amazingly enough, he said they were birds... seriously now, you just cannot mistaken that for birds! (I reminded me of Laura and the flock of birds). This guy is a very down to earth person and we often talk about weirdness so I was very surprised when he said birds. The other friend was completely unmoved; to him, there were only lights.
As a side note, I don't know what is going on down here - because the last 4 days or so, there is helicopter noise non stop (day and night). As I write this I can hear it. Right after the siting, there was also big helicopter noise. (I live close to a small airport but nothing like this before)
So that is that...I'm a bit upset and still shocked.
