Vatican website has a panoramic view of the Sistine Chapel

Since i will probably never get to visit the vatican, this: http://www.vatican.va/various/cappelle/sistina_vr/index.html
is the next best thing. Say what you want about the vatican, but this is absolutely amazing, the music, the detail of the pictures, everything, looks like it not all child molesters there, there seems to be people with some technical talent there.

What do you guys think?

yes this is amazing - once you get used to navigating you could spend hours there.

I find the last judgment depiction behind the altar especially poignant.

Its truly amazing that you can access almost all of hundreds of frescoes and examine them with a close up, you would never be able to get this close in real life.

I know it is a very famous master but I forgot the name at the moment

PS: according to wikipedia there were several masters at work: Michelangelo, Sandro Botticelli, Pietro Perugino, Pinturicchio

I kind of remember that Michelangelo painted the ceiling and I guess he was the art master...
