I was really surprised by the idea of a video game system that reads your thoughts being released now. I was under the impression that "thought reading technology" was still in labs and experimental stages (in terms of what the non-secret general population technologies are) because if you look at an articles like this:

That's the impression I get - so seeing an article that says this sort of technology is now being released in toys for kids, that almost seems like someone is "hurrying it along" to get this stuff out there soon for some reason..

With all those clues the C's gave, computer seem to play a very important part in our present and especially future. And that artificial intelligence can lead to them "waking up" and going Skynet/Terminator on us as those crystals did to Atlanteans is certainly something to consider. The C's said that when 2nd density pets spend lots of time around 3rd density humans, there is an affect that speeds up their progress. So I am wondering what happens when the computers that read thoughts are connected to our brains for hours at a time - does it affect the computers and potentially transfer some part of our consciousness into the computer and perhaps increase the chances of it "waking up" or something?
One way or another, it seems that if this technology continues to improve, keyboard and mouse may very quickly become a thing of the past. But similarly, the idea that everybody would be using computer-brain interfaces is very very spooky - will they all become even more jello-brained than they are already? And what about computers sending thoughts back into our brains - only this time it's not some secret satellites controlled by government agencies, here we're talking mainstream technology that can potentially be used by millions or billions of people.
Hmm this reminds me of the "chips" they want to implant into everyone in the near future for all identification and transaction and licensing purposes etc. Not only will those things allow them to know where we are and what we are doing, if they popularize this thought reading technology - or perhaps secretly include it with those chips - they'll know what we're thinking too. Sure it's just "video games" right now, but obviously this is only the beginning. And they're not sitting arond twiddling their thumbs - a year ago it was still just a big breakthrough experiment on a paralyzed patient, now it's suddenly the new "playstation" - and that alone blew my socks off how fast that happened. So what's gonna happen a year from now?
