I thought this was fantastic. The speaker talks about "coming out of the closet," in relation to any hard conversation we might have to have.

I liked the connection between staying 'in the closet' and the stress it causes, which overlaps with the stuff we know from EE (cortisol, disease, etc.). In other words, it's healthier to just say the things we need to say but have been too afraid to express.

I listened to this yesterday and enjoyed it as well -- the part at the end where she talks about being curled up around a grenade was pretty apt. I also liked the story about the little girl and her pajamas :)

I also enjoyed the video. I realized that not only the most people including myself are afraid of answering sensitive questions from strangers, but also sometimes we become afraid of asking something that can be sensitive to other people.

Of course, the external consideration is very important but sometimes I think we are too afraid to ask something a very simple. Look at a little girl, she was able to express her question without hesitation, you know why, because she did not expect an answer to be a certain way so she didn't judge it, she was just curious.

She's beautiful.
Open, honest, to the point, and unapologetic.
Yes! She is an example of learn to respect, value and love ourselves for what we are, contrary to the expectations of others that you only become reactive / passive.
What good is the idea of being able to ask as a child. The innocence of wanting to know without anticipations or pretense.
