This is a big shocker in our small community. Talk in the town says this guy was trying to turn his life around and was working for the local organic farm. 2 weeks after moving in with his roommate, a registered sex offender, he murders his roommate and sets off to (successfully)murder another registered sex offender before he is caught by authorities.
There appears to be a mixed response from the community... approval that some one is finally giving those child rapists what they "deserve", and those that say killing is never right...unless the murderer gets the death penalty(?).
I see this as another sign of the times... our broken judicial system is not adequate to protect our children from sexual predators. Ironically, they just opened up a new center to aid "child victims" and interviewed 4 children on their first day in a neighboring town....trying to help after the damage is done.
