Volcano

I had a dream this morning when I had a ten minute doze after been awake for a few hours. It was a lucid dream but very real.

I was in a house with my wife and her friend. My wife is a hairdresser and was about to do her friends hair. It wasn't our house but felt familiar. I went outside and it was the clearest of blue sky's absolutely beautiful, crystal clear. In the distance I saw a grey/black spot in the sky and it quickly spread towards me. It was an ash cloud spewing out engulfing the sky and speeding towards the house. It reminded me off the Chilean volcano eruption. It was like I could see every detail in real time.

I ran in the house and acted as if it was a terrible storm upon us. I shouted frantically to turn the power off though in my conscious mind I was convinced it was a volcano. I was panicking in the dream and I awoke I struggled to to turn the power off.

I have read a couple of interpretations about volcano dreams on the internet but I thought I would post here to see if anyone had any thoughts. I have had some intense dreams during my initial EE practice over the last month. This has calmed down as I relaxed my routine over the last few weeks. I also in the past used to dream about tornadoes when major changes were coming into my life. It was similar to that but the feeling in me was subtly different.

Hello Thebull, the dream you describe could be telling you that a situation which could be life threatening to you is going to send you into a panic, because you don't feel as if you are ready to face it.

No doubt uncertain times are ahead, and I'm not aware of your present situation, but this may be your subconscious warning you to start making sure that you are ready for whatever eventuates.

Panic in any situation is not helpful, so readiness is the answer.
Knowledge Protects!

Thanks Musicman been ready probably is the key and knowledge protects for sure. I have been struggling since my return to my full time job after been off for 10 months.

I'm trying to figure out if this is still he right work for me. I probably have been anxious Over the last month bedding into the job on my return. It may well be time to make a concrete decision about my future though I said I'd give myself a couple of months to see how I go (nearly at 2 months now). I think I am extremely hard on myself and probably haven't eased myself into it as well as I could of.

It could well be a message warning to have a plan in place or my health may suffer.
