Waking up with paralysis

Hi, since I don't remember I wake up at night and have arms paralysis. Sometimes one whole arm sometimes both.
It's fill like your arms don't have bones, you move them and they are sliding like not yours. I know everything is because of my diet, but I can't change it so radically. I stopped to eat bread, it was big step, anyway and I had a problems in my family.
Now they accepted it and I presented the next step, Milk. What!? Milk!.,?,! Yes I stopes to drink milk. Ok, now they afraid what is coming next. I eat daily white rice since I have nothing els as main.

Hey tonosama, I'm not sure what you're describing. Is it that you arms are 'falling asleep'? This link describes what that phrase means: http://health.howstuffworks.com/human-body/parts/question552.htm If this is the case, it might just be the way you are sleeping by putting too much pressure on your arms or having them in an awkward position.

that's great to hear about your overcoming bread. After you get milk conquered, I'm sure you'll feel the difference.

Thats a strange problem ( to me atleast im sure others will come along to help you with it) ive had sleep paralysis just the once when i was reading the Wave ( something that put my Ex Girlfriend off even thinking about reading the wave........ a regret of mine ) but ive never had waking paralysis that must be truely scary! i gave up milk and gluten along time ago and havent felt better. I know rice is bad for us but we all have a cross to bare for me its sugar, tomatoes and potatoes but im feeling pretty good at the momnet. Try giving up milk..... unless ur willing to drink rats milk? no? then give up cows milk too its just the same leave that behind u concerntrate on the natual side of things! u can eat meat!!!! and fat!!!!! good lord thats awesome isnt it!!! :D rice i eat too with no side effects just a little slughness but milk?!?! quit it! even if it has no baring on ur paralysis. If ur clear headed and u still get it may even be a message? :halo:

Paresthesia of the arms can come from prolonged tension in your neck and shoulders, and is often related to static positions in front of computers etc; the other main factor is prolonged stress. Exercising neck/shoulders with low intensity movements over time usually solves the problem.

That could be and pressure while sleeping. sometimes I catch my self in funny position, like sitting in a bow and hands under the pillow.

Hee, yes today morning I had fried Eggs with bacon and onion on Salad. My wife was looking like what are you doing, but she was asking me to do for here to. I ordered already Coconuts oil. Here in Japan one bottle cost about 30 Dollars. gees. Is it normal?
I have to ask friend from Philippines to bring some here.

:)

Are you able to find duck/goose/pork/beef (animal) fat in japan? Coconut oil is expensive.

I use to get a lot of sleep paralysis, numb arms (where you have been sleeping on them and the circulation gets cut off), and lots of high strangeness when I was a teenager.
Seems that these things (like you say) are diet related. I recently had a recurrence some months ago, and it was due to too much sugar (simple carbohydrates) it seems (although it could have also been a food allergy). If you are only eating rice, be aware that it has a lot of simple carbohydrates in them.
If you can find it in japan, the book Life Without Bread: How a Low-Carbohydrate Diet Can Save Your Life by Christian B Allan and Wolfgang Lutz will probably help.

You can also look for its German or Polish version, if you prefer reading in one of these languages :) Search the Polish and German Internet for Wolfgang Lutz and see which version you can get easier.

Thank you I will try! :)

:) I just want to update, after holding strict the paleo diet, specially the gluten and dairy, sugar and veg. oil free. I fill much better, the paralysis or paresthesia is gone, but some how I need more sleep. I go to sleep at 22:00 and wake up at 7:00.

I just barely saw this thread, but want to add that I have suffered from this before too. The times I was suffering was when I was very young (maybe like 5?), a teenager, and again in my late twenties/early thirties. I noticed in my teenage years and late twenties that it came more when I was under stress. Sleep is so important and it's good to know you are feeling better with this diet! I am too!! :)
