Water

Has anyone else ever been bothered by just how sticky water is? I just got out of the shower and I was covered with water and I realized how much I really just did not want to be wet. I had to get a towel to try to scrub the water off. And it's still there. I can still feel it. I managed to get most of it off but it's all over my hair and everything!!! You know, if water were just a little bit slimy everyone would puke when they had to get clean. That's what water feels like to me right now.... sticky slime... but not. Besides the chemical reasons and all, I don't see why we couldn't get ourselves clean with liquid mercury. Besides the fact that it beads up really nice into this neat little pile and isn't so sticky, think of how freakin awesome showers would be! You could put a disco ball and crazy lights in the shower and omg could you imagine a liquid mercury shower on acid?!?! Thunderstorms would be the single most stunningly mind blowing thing in existence. In conclusion, earth is boring.

psychojen, please familiarize yourself with the Forum Guidelines in general. And, in particular to your post above, read Rule #2. We do not condone, nor discuss, illegal pastime habits of readers here.

wow.. ok... I guess you could change it to a ceremonial liquid mercury peyote shower for the Native American Church which is 100% legal.

I will excuse myself from that experiment, as interesting as it may seem. I think most of us are already tired of trying to get rid of the mercury that's already in us, let alone fantasize about bathing in it. Ditto for mental illusions, no need to complicate introspection with drugs.

Aww come on! Where's your sense of adventure??
This Forum's 'sense of adventure' is based on a great deal of scientific study, not fantasy. There's nothing wrong with a bit of humor now and then, though the world is burning right around us and we have a lot to do to survive whatever might be around the corner.

You've had a lot of folks provide their time and energy with serious replies to your questions. If you truly think you've found a place that you could consider a learning ground, then by all means please explore the Forum, ask questions and do your own research but please follow the guidelines set out here by the owners, and respect what they've built. You are, after all, a guest in someone's 'home'. Act accordingly, please.

It isn't about a sense of adventure, Psychojen. Did you read the Forum guidelines that 1984 linked to?

Two: Please don't post messages about your illegal pastimes and habits. Cassiopaea.org does not wish to appear to condone such practices, for reasons that should be pretty obvious if a little common sense is applied. If you do post such stuff, expect it to be deleted immediately. It is also inadvisible to post about illegal pastimes from yesteryear, drug use for example, (unless you are disavowing all such usage). The reason is that by doing so you run the risk of attracting lurker "drug buddies", which you probably don't want to do.

Or encourage others to engage in such practices.
