A Disturbance in the Force
Hey all,
My first real thread so as usual apologies if it is not in the right place, the correct way.
I came across this article in the week regarding weed killer, specifically, glyphosate that has been found in urine across Europe.
The article can be found here: http://www.foeeurope.org/weed-killer-glyphosate-found-human-urine-across-Europe-130613
And there are plenty of informative threads on glyphosate within this forum.
A good article on SOTT.net can be found here, Glyphosate: A trajectory of human misery - http://www.sott.net/article/261468-Glyphosate-A-trajectory-of-human-misery
To summarise it is detrimental to our bodies and should not be within our food chain.
Unfortunately for my new, young family and I, we reside in Malta, which according to the data, 90% of the test population provided samples that proved positive for glyphosate. This is not surprising in the knowledge of how much is used but what is surprising is that no one is talking about it, publicly anyway.
I find it disgraceful and worrying. Although I have started to grow some produce contamination may be inevitable.
Thanks to a member for the push to post. I have a responsibility to my new born son not to just sit idly by. (As I say seated typing this).
So I hope the information is a help and that others could also raise the issue/awareness and maybe give that extra motivation to grow your own!
Many thanks
Spirito
