Weird Al Yankovic: FOIL

Not sure if this belongs in Tickle Me or COINTELPRO but I'd like to give Al the benefit of the doubt.

From his latest album "Mandatory Fun", "Weird Al" Yankovic teams up with CollegeHumor to bring us this video for "FOIL", a parody of the rather nauseating pop song "Royals" by Lorde. The second half of the video is devoted to Illuminati conspiracy theories, complete with a nod to David Icke's best known disinformational meme. This stuff has made its way into mass consciousness enough that he was bound to get to it sooner or later. It's easy enough for a 'serious' conspiracy theorist / truth seeker to say, "Sure, these are the top disinformational memes that are easiest to talk about" as well as for an asleep person to use it to dismiss the subject completely. I'd like to hear Al interviewed about it. Perhaps he's agnostic on the matter? I know he's been a serious vegetarian for some time now.

and yet another way of ridiculing the topic. There must be different examples for every target audience. You're "cool" if you think this is funny and agree. Reminds me of the Penn and Teller Bullsh*t series. The first 3 episodes were about "talking to the dead", "alternative medicine" and "alien abduction" . They found the most obvious wack jobs and nuts they could find and used them to make the subjects look preposterous and unbelievable.
