Western societal progress is on a knife-edge

The problem seems to have its origins on university and college campuses. The educational institutions are now almost overtaken entirely by left-wing thinking. This isn't surprising since most Conservative minded people want to be out expanding their own fiscal worth rather than educating others for a controlled fiscal return. But this has presented society with a problem.

The people educating our young, no longer tell them how important it is to make something of yourself in the few short years you're alive - to pursue your chosen career direction with every ounce of who you are and to expand your mind, and to live - as best you can - as a beacon for others to emulate, on the grounds it will make a better society in the future. Indeed, they are not even taught that being a good person actually matters, or that there is such a thing as a good person at all in the moral-relativism of postmodernism.

The people educating our young have no interest in educating them anymore in a traditional sense (maths is patriarchal it seems, so is biology, physics, engineering etc) they are simply creating the next generation of CEOs, managers, HR officers, politicians, actors, and writers (etc) that will help force identity politics in to every aspect of our lives.. and they are achieving a great deal of success.

So, we've hit the point where it's becoming legislated that you must refer to a transgender by the pronouns and adjectives they dictate. That's bad in and of itself but there's a bigger problem. If gender is an aspect of identity which is legally determinable by the individual - then why not other aspects of identity? If we can force society to abandon respect for that objectively demonstrable aspect of people's identity - then why not the others? .. like age, and race, and height, and species? There's nothing special about gender.

To accept this, is the thin end of a very fat wedge. Once Identity is done with and we have to respect the whimsical reality of the individual rather than objective reality - why not other objectively demonstrable realities? Just as there's nothing special about gender, there's also nothing special about identity. Why shouldn't a flat-earther stand on the same podium as a renowned astrophysicist?.. Flat Earth is his/her reality after all and if we can hold personal reality as paramount in identity, why not understanding of the universe as well?

Further education has become so politicised at this point, that in a way we'd be better off without it rather than continue to suffer the awful thing it's become. Dismantle the entire institution and rebuild on the basis that the original premise has been utterly destroyed from within. But beyond that, we also have to face the fact that identity politics has poisoned all aspects of society. It has been an incredibly effective weapon.

So what hope is there where legislation forces us to ignore objective reality on whatever limited scale at this point, that might be? Agendas, until they're overthrown, only expand and grow
